  • Day 1: Pickup from Dehradun → Drive to Gangotri (258 km / 10 hours, Altitude: 3415 meters)

Gaumukh Trek - Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Gangotri
  • 🚕 Total Distance: 270 km – 9 to 10 hours journey
  • 🗺️ Route: Dehradun → Mussoorie → Suwakholi → Dhanaulti → Uttarkashi → Gangotri
  • ⛰️ Altitude: Gangotri – 10,055 feet
  • 🏨 Night Stay: Hotel – on twin-sharing basis
  • 🌄 Enjoy scenic views en route, including Himalayan valleys and the Bhagirathi River. Visit Uttarkashi temples (Vishwanath & Shakti Temple) en route.
  • 📍 Check-in at Gangotri for overnight stay, the base for your Gaumukh Trek.
Day 2: Gangotri to Chirbasa Trek
  • 🥾 Trek Distance: 9 km – 6 hours
  • ⛰️ Altitude: Chirbasa – 11,761 feet
  • 🏕️ Night Stay: Camp at Chirbasa
  • 🌲 Trail follows Bhagirathi River through pine forests, offering glimpses of Himalayan peaks.
  • 📝 Mandatory check-in at View Post for forest department records.
  • ✨ Surrounded by birch trees, Chirbasa offers clear night skies perfect for stargazing.
Day 3: Chirbasa to Bhojbasa
  • 🥾 Trek Distance: 5 km – 3 hours
  • ⛰️ Altitude: Bhojbasa – 12,761 feet
  • 🏕️ Night Stay: Camp at Bhojbasa
  • 🏞️ Gradual ascent along Bhagirathi River, crossing rocky paths and sparse vegetation.
  • 🌄 Enjoy stunning views of Bhagirathi peaks from the alpine meadow setting.
Day 4: Bhojbasa to Gaumukh Glacier and Back
  • 🥾 Trek Distance: 4 km to Gaumukh + 4 km return – 4 to 5 hours total
  • ⛰️ Altitude: Gaumukh – 13,200 feet
  • 🏕️ Night Stay: Return to Camp at Bhojbasa
  • 🌬️ Trek over rocky terrain and glacial moraines to the sacred Gaumukh Glacier, origin of the Ganga River.
  • 🧘‍♂️ Spiritual exploration and breathtaking glacier views at Gaumukh.
Day 5: Bhojbasa to Gangotri
  • 🥾 Trek Distance: 14 km – 7 to 8 hours
  • ⛰️ Altitude Descent: Gangotri – 10,055 feet
  • 🏨 Night Stay: Hotel at Gangotri
  • 🌲 Retrace your route along the Bhagirathi River, descending through forest and alpine trails.
  • 🕊️ Reflect on your Himalayan journey in the tranquil town of Gangotri.
Day 6: Gangotri to Dehradun
  • 🚗 Total Distance: 270 km – 10 to 12 hours journey
  • 🕕 Departure Time: Early morning
  • 🛣️ Arrival in Dehradun: Between 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • 📍 Scenic drive through Uttarkashi, Dhanaulti, Mussoorie en route back to Dehradun.
  • 🎯 Check into your Dehradun hotel or head to your onward journey location.

Cancellation Policy

Terms for Cancellation & Refund:

  • 💰 Full payment is required in advance for confirmed bookings.
  • 📅 Prior 30 days: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • 📅 Prior 25 days: 40% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • 📅 Prior 20 days: 30% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • 📅 Prior 15 days: 20% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • 📅 Prior 10 days: 10% of the total amount will be refunded.

Note: After this period, Dev Bhumi Adventures will not entertain any cancellation requests, and no amount will be refunded.
