Short Itinerary

Do Dham & Tungnath Trek - Itinerary

Day 1: Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi (220 km | 8-9 hours)

Morning: Depart from Haridwar early after breakfast. En Route: Visit Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers) and Rudraprayag. Afternoon: Lunch break during the journey. Evening: Arrive in Guptkashi, check into the hotel, and relax. Dinner & Stay: Overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16 km trek)

Early Morning: Depart for Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek. Trekking Options: Trek on foot (16 km) Hire a pony or palanquin Helicopter service available (pre-booking required) Afternoon: Reach Kedarnath, check into your accommodation. Evening: Visit Kedarnath Temple, attend Aarti, and explore the sacred surroundings. Dinner & Stay: Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (16 km trek + 30 km drive)

Early Morning: Attend Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Temple (optional). Morning: After breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. Afternoon: Drive back to Guptkashi and check into the hotel. Evening: Rest and relax after the trek. Dinner & Stay: Overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.

Day 4: Guptkashi to Badrinath (200 km | 8-9 hours)

Morning: After breakfast, begin the journey towards Badrinath.
En Route: Stop at Joshimath, Vishnuprayag, and Pandukeshwar.
Afternoon: Reach Badrinath Temple, check into the hotel, and visit Tapt Kund (hot water spring).
Evening: Attend the Badrinath Aarti and explore Mana Village (the last village of India).
Dinner & Stay: Overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.

Day 5: Badrinath to Haridwar (320 km | 10-12 hours)

Early Morning: Visit Badrinath Temple for darshan.
Morning: After breakfast, start the return journey.
En Route: Stop at Rudraprayag, Devprayag, and Rishikesh for sightseeing.
Evening: Arrive in Haridwar, marking the end of the spiritual journey.

  • Comfortable and hygienic vehicle (AC Sedan/SUV car) for sightseeing on all days as per the itinerary
  • Breakfast (from Day 2 to Day 4), Dinner (From Day 1 to Day 3)
  • Highly experienced Driver & guide
  • Accommodation (Depending on the variant selected)

Exclusions

  • Entry Fees and Permits for monument entrances
  • Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, fax, etc.
  • Anything not mentioned in Inclusions

Note

  • Normally Dev Bhumi Adventures expects you to carry your personal luggage on your own. If you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to a Mule.
  • Charges of offloading backpack:
    • INR 1200/- if you make an online payment, 10 days in advance
    • INR 1500/- if you inform us after reaching Sankri
  • The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs and should have a waterproof cover. Suitcases/strolleys/bags will not be allowed.

Cancellation Policy

Terms for Cancellation & Refund:

Customers must make a full payment in advance to confirm bookings. If a confirmed booking needs to be canceled, the following refund policies apply:

  • Prior 30 days: 50% refund of the total amount.
  • Prior 25 days: 40% refund of the total amount.
  • Prior 20 days: 30% refund of the total amount.
  • Prior 15 days: 20% refund of the total amount.
  • Prior 10 days: 10% refund of the total amount.
